About
I have helped clients buy and sell thousands of acres of land and countless numbers of houses in the nearly two decades I have been a licensed Real Estate Agent.
All of my clients benefit from my wealth of knowledge about property - houses, land, and ranches. I have helped countless numbers of clients find their perfect next home.
When you select me as your Real Estate Agent, you benefit from all of my skills as a recognized expert in all matters of land management, zoning, water, equine waste management, equine facility design, and many related areas of land, vineyard, property management and development, and arborist.
While providing excellent real estate services, I am an active consultant to local regulatory agencies and city and county governments as well as privately-owned ranches and facilities. I have been very active in the community for many years as a public speaker and educator on land management issues, and I'm a formidable equine and parks advocate. As an active rider, I patrol on horseback the Willow Creek Watershed of the Sonoma Coast State Park and Armstrong Woods State Park.
Having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Planning from Sonoma State University, I can prepare Farm and Ranch Environmental plans for submittal to government agencies who issue permits for your property. I teach classes at the Santa Rosa Junior College on "Horse Keeping for Clean Water." And to make sure I've covered all bases concerning land management, I have been a Certified Arborist for many years, and I'm an established Equestrian Resource Expert with the County of Sonoma. I also ran an Organic Produce Company for 12 years and farmed 126 acres organically for the YA-KA-AMA Indian Development Center.
Other organizations I am involved with concerning property and land use include the Back Country Horsemen of California where I was the representative to the National Back Country Horsemen of America for 8 years and the president of the North Bay Unit for 2 years. I am the founding president of the Sonoma County Horse Council (and President for 12 years), which set a precedent of leadership in every state in the U.S. Presently, I serve in an advisory capacity to the Board.
I recently have taken up fly fishing and am planning pack trips to the Mountains each summer. Besides the outdoor activities, I enjoy listening to most kinds of music and play the Irish traditional drum and the congas. I also race sailboats in the San Francisco Bay every summer for something really different!
So, again, whether you're moving out, moving in or just moving on, let me help you find the perfect property for you!
